Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they think Juan Foyth needs a loan move away from the club, after Jose Mourinho handed Japhet Tanganga his Premier League debut against Liverpool.

The Argentina international has now made as many Premier League starts as the 20-year-old academy prospect this season with one to his name, and the Spurs fans on Twitter think that Foyth should depart on loan.

The 22-year-old - who was signed from Estudiantes by Mauricio Pochettino in 2017 - wasn't even named on the bench against Liverpool while Tanganga played the full 90 minutes, and he has only made three starts in total this season having made two in the Champions League and one in the Premier League.

Foyth - who cost the north Londoners a reported £8m - now appears to have been usurped in the pecking order by Tanganga, who impressed these supporters on his first Premier League start and against the European and World champions, no less.

As a result, these supporters think some game time away from the club would do him some good...

This supporter named Tom kicked off the discussion by saying that Foyth is a "lovely footballer" although he has "a bad feeling about him now" - this came before him saying that the Argentine needs a loan that will get him game time.

Additionally, this supporter said that Tanganga looked more assured than Foyth, before calling the Pochettino signing a "magnet for mistakes" and someone who "needs a loan for sure".

The calls for Foyth to be loaned out continued with this pair of supporters, with one saying that, now Tanganga is getting ahead of the former Estudiantes man, a loan move should really be in the offing.

Another fan - whose username is Vertonghen's Son - said that Foyth needs a loan move so "he can get rid of his errors".

Lastly, these two fans echoed those aforementioned claims by also adding that Foyth should depart on loan - Suryo offered an alternative to a loan as well by suggesting that maybe the centre-back could impress Mourinho at right-back.

Lastly, 'SHARKY' said that a loan would "do him wonders" before adding that he hopes Foyth hasn't soured his relationship with Mourinho.
