French giants to hand Man United & Spurs transfer blow

Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up a summer move for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who is also wanted by Manchester United, according to reports from Goal.

The France international has emerged as one of the Premier League’s best stoppers since his 2012 switch to White Hart Lane, and has recently been linked with a surprise switch to Old Trafford as a potential replacement for David de Gea.

However, PSG are ready to disappoint both the Manchester and London outfits by pushing forward with a big money move.

The Ligue 1 champions are in the market for a new No. 1 as they plot to cement their spot at the top of their national game while making an impact in Europe.

Lloris, Les Bleus’ captain, is seen as the best option by the club, with luring home grown talent back to the country appealing.

Spurs could demand up to £40m for their man, but their hand might be forced by the player’s Champions League desires.

PSG, unlike Tottenham, will be in the big competition next term.
