As is often the case with ex-employees, attacking midfielder Nacer Chadli found the net against former club Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday – a goal that grabbed West Bromwich Albion an impressive point against Premier League title contenders at the Hawthorns.
But that was by no means the Belgium international’s solitary effort of the campaign. Indeed, since leaving White Hart Lane late in the summer transfer window, Chadli’s gone on to bag four goals and two assists in five Premier League appearances for the Baggies – that’s more strikes than he managed for Spurs last season in 29 top flight outings.
His overall form has been equally impressive, averaging 1.6 tackles, 1.4 created chances and 2.6 shots per-match. With that in mind, we have a simple question for Lilywhites fans; did the club make a mistake selling Chadli during the summer?
