Tottenham are struggling to land West Brom star Saido Berahino as the Telegraph reports a third and fourth bid have been rejected on deadline day.
They report a £23m bid had been tabled by the North London side in an effort to bring the player to White Hart Lane. That bid is thought to have been rejected just a few hours before tonight’s 6pm deadline.
The England Under-21 regular has been a top target for the Londoners this year, with West Brom refusing to budge.
It is thought the player had requested a transfer from the club, who he scored 14 Premier League goals for last season.
He has now sensationally taken to Twitter to vent his frustration, claiming he will ‘never play’ for chairman Jeremy Peace again.
Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.

The news comes as another reported target, Axel Witsel, claims Zenit St Petersburg are blocking a potential deal for himself.
‘I will not leave anymore’, said the Belgian international, ‘it is a pity as I hoped to make a transfer.’
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had been rumoured to be in the race for the 26-year old former Benfica man, but it looks like he will be staying in Russia.
