Tottenham Hotspur will look to boost their chances of winning their first major silverware in a decade when they face Swansea City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Spurs recovered from their disappointing Champions League exit against Juventus by beating Bournemouth 4-1 at the Vitality Stadium last weekend, but the comprehensive win came at a cost as they lost star man Harry Kane to an ankle injury that will keep him on the sidelines until the end of April, leaving manager Mauricio Pochettino to find a solution to the void the England international will leave.

Despite falling behind against the Cherries and seeing Kane leave the pitch in the first half, goals from Dele Alli, Serge Aurier and a brace from the in-form Son Heung-Min saw the north London outfit cement their spot in the top four in the Premier League, moving above Liverpool and up to third in the standings.

Now Pochettino's men must turn their attentions to the FA Cup with their hopes of winning the Champions League and Premier League already gone, and the Argentine will know the importance of the club ending their long trophy drought.

It certainly won't be an easy task to react the last four despite the fact that the Swans are struggling in the top flight, with Carlos Carvalhal's men winning their previous seven matches on their own patch in all competitions.

Pochettino went with the tried and trusted 4-2-3-1 system against Bournemouth but did make three changes from the side that was beaten by Juve with both full-backs changing, and while he will have to make at least one against the Swans with Kane missing he will be thinking about potentially changing others too.

Here is how Tottenham must line up against Swansea on Saturday, ahead of Hugo Lloris in goal…

Pochettino took Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies out of his back four from the loss against Juventus and replaced them with Serge Aurier and Danny Rose against Bournemouth, with Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen continuing at the heart of the defence.

The Argentine boss confirmed Toby Alderweireld is back in training ahead of the weekend but unless he is 100% fit, he shouldn't be risked in south Wales.

Meanwhile, Aurier scored against the Cherries – impressing the Spurs fans as a result – and Rose also did well enough, and Pochettino should look to keep both of them in the XI against Swansea, before bringing Trippier and Davies back into the side in the Premier League.

With Eric Dier left on the substitutes' bench at the Vitality Stadium having suffered an elbow injury in the defeat against Juventus, Victor Wanyama lined up alongside Mousa Dembele in the middle of the park against the Cherries, showing the strength in depth Pochettino has available to him.

The Argentine manager will have a big decision to make this weekend at the Liberty Stadium, and he should look to keep the Kenya international in the XI before making a big decision for their vital trip to Chelsea on April 1.

With Harry Kane definitely out and Dele Alli potentially not being 100% fit after suffering a groin injury against Bournemouth, Pochettino has some big decisions to make for the trip to Swansea.

While you may expect former Swans striker Fernando Llorente to be the natural replacement for Kane, the fact that Son Heung-Min has scored seven goals in his last four matches in all competitions mean that he should start up top in south Wales, having also received great praise from Spurs fans.

If Alli isn't ready then he shouldn't be risked – even though he scored against Cherries – with Christian Eriksen, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela all ready to step in behind Son against Carlos Carvalhal's men, and the latter duo will certainly have something to prove to Pochettino.
