Following the news that Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a new long-term contract with Tottenham, which will keep him at the club until 2023, the question has been asked of whether the youngster should start more games for the club.

Kieran Trippier has been out of sorts this season following an outstanding World Cup campaign with England, whilst his back-up, Serge Aurier, is about as inconsistent as they come, performing well in one game before being a huge liability in the next.

21-year-old Walker-Peters, who sounds more like a Football Manager regen who appears in the game after Kyle Walker retires, has played just 12 Premier League minutes this season, as well as starting the League Cup game against West Ham.

Impressively, he made just two league starts last season on the first day of the campaign - against Newcastle - and then on the last day - against Leicester - winning the man-of-the-match award in both games and recording two assists.

Due to the current right-back issue at the club, would you like to see the youngster start more games ahead of Trippier and Aurier? Have your say down below...
