After a difficult week, Tottenham desperately need a good performance against Manchester United on Saturday, but should Lucas Moura start?

When Lucas joined in January, Spurs fans were delighted as they finally had a depth of genuine quality options in every attacking position.

If Kane goes out either Heung-min Son or Fernando Llorente can fill in, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen are both world class playing behind the striker, and Lucas joined Son and Erik Lamela to give Mauricio Pochettino three quality wingers at his disposal.

Of course, having five top class players competing for three positions brings its own problems, as all of them want to play in the big games.

Lucas Moura was finally given his first Premier League start in the 1-1 draw at Brighton on Tuesday, and he did enough to keep his place for the huge FA Cup clash.

Christian Eriksen is red hot right now, and Dele Alli has to play due to his ability to pop up with goals in big games, so Heung-min Son should make way for Lucas.

Son has scored 19 goals in all competitions, but his form has just trailed off a bit recently, failing to score in his last five.

Manchester United will likely arrive at Wembley with their bus fully in tact, so Spurs will need Lucas to keep their width.

Son is a great player, but his tendency to drift into central areas could do more harm than good against a Jose Mourinho team.

So, Tottenham fans, do you think Lucas should start at Wembley on Saturday? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
