According to AS, per the Daily Mail, Christian Eriksen could leave Tottenham Hotspur and join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Both Barcelona and Real are reported to have expressed their interest in securing the Denmark international, with Los Blancos the current frontrunners.

Eriksen's current contract expires in 2020, and the playmaker is said to be "increasingly open" to the prospect of leaving Spurs.

The crafty playmaker currently earns £70,000-per-week at Tottenham, which is significantly less than the £200,000 that highest-earner Harry Kane takes home every week.

The 26-year-old is looking to at least double his money, but talks with Spurs are said to have reached an impasse, with the prospect of the deadlock being broken currently unlikely.

Eriksen would be handed a significantly higher pay packet if he completed a move to one of the Spanish giants, but the ball appears to be in Spurs' court.

Given the unlikelihood of Daniel Levy replacing Eriksen with an equal or better player, the club would be foolish not to up the bidding and double his money, but what do you think Spurs fans?
