According to TuttomercatoWeb, Tottenham are in talks with Genk to sign £22.5m rated midfielder Sander Berge, who would be an ideal fit to replace the injury-stricken duo of Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, who are slowly on the decline.
Additionally, Spurs are also looking for a cheaper alternative to Jack Grealish in their hunt for a young, homegrown talent, and have identified £20m-rated Hull winger Jarrod Bowen as an ideal candidate, as reported by Sky Sports.
One would assume that the costs of constructing the new White Hart Lane will see their business in the market limited, as it was back in the summer when the north Londoners failed to make a single signing.
If that is still the case, then it is likely that Mauricio Pochettino will only be able to bring in one of the aforementioned two players in Spurs’ sights.
So, who would you rather see sign for the club in January, or in the summer, out of Bowen and Berge? Have your say down below…
