Tottenham Hotspur have hit a blip in their start to the new campaign after suffering defeats either side of the international break against Watford and Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had previously won their opening three matches to the campaign but the consecutive defeats have raised concerns about the Argentine’s squad, especially after he failed to sign a single player in the summer.
On top of that, the decision to leave Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier out of his Champions League squad to face Inter Milan on Tuesday evening also raised eyebrows and some fans have since speculated he wants out from his role.

After years guiding Tottenham from a top-six side into Champions League regulars, Pochettino would have plenty of suitors and would leave a huge void to fill in North London – but it is easy to see why some are suggesting he wants a way out.
The risk for Spurs is that losing Pochettino could have a domino effect on the futures of key players like Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min, although the financial implications from their imminent stadium move could force Spurs into sales.
If that is the case, then a long-term future for Pochettino at Spurs is looking increasingly unlikely and an exit could occur before the end of the 2018-19 season.
