According to the Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur have submitted an offer for the services of PSG winger, Lucas Moura. The 25-year-old has been strictly deprived of first-team involvement for the Parisian side this season, having only featured in six games in all competitions. Moura has publicly signalled his discontent with PSG, and a move to Tottenham appears likely.

What’s the story?

It is reported that Arsenal and Tottenham are both competing for the signature of Lucas Moura. Despite having featured in only five league games for PSG this season, which accounts to 72 minutes on the pitch, the Brazilian managed to score and register an assist which displays his usefulness in front of goal.

What will he bring to Tottenham?

While Lucas is currently unrequired at Paris Saint-Germain, he proved to be an excellent player last season, as he scored 18 goals in 52 games for the French side, that included 11 goals in Ligue .

In addition to his impressive goal involvement, Lucas Moura is highly regarded for his multitude of cherished attributes. The Brazil international is seen as a player who exhibits strong passing and dribbling abilities, and he also established a propensity to provide key passes during games.

Naturally, given his Brazilian heritage, Moura is technically gifted, and he’s a menacing prospect for defenders, especially when he cuts inside. Whats more, Moura has a winning mentality having helped PSG to win four Ligue 1 titles since 2013.

Without question, the potential arrival of Moura will provide Spurs with greater creativity and exuberance in wide positions, while also contributing a fair number of goals and assists. It remains to be seen whether he can establish himself as a regular in the starting eleven but there’s no refuting the quality that his presence would provide.
