Italians hope offer of striker will help land Tottenham star

Juventus are ready to offer £30million Erik Lamela a way out of Tottenham, despite being at the club for less than six months, according to the Daily Mirror.

Lamela is thought to be desperate for a return to Serie A, after failing to settle in North London, and Juventus are keen to provide an escape.

The Turin giants are ready to offer cash, and Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic in part-exchange.

Tottenham have been labeled as long term admirers of Vucinic, and may well be willing to accept the offer, especially since Jermain Defoe looks set to complete a move to the MLS next week.

Lamela has endured a torrid time since making the switch to White Hart Lane from Roma in the summer for £30million.

The 21-year-old has made just three Premier League starts, and just 10 overall, scoring one goal in the Europa League against Moldovan minnows Sheriff.

Tottenham would be willing to do business if the deal involved 30-year-old Vucinic.

Tim Sherwood is looking to bolster his striking options, with Roberto Soldado another summer signing who has taken time to settle.

Vucinic has a fantastic scoring record in Italy, having scored goals regularly for the likes of Leece, Roma and Juventus.
