Juventus all but certain to beat Tottenham to highly rated €25m attacker

Tottenham target Domenico Berardi looks set to stay in Serie A next season and join Juventus over the course of the summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The highly rated Italian under-21 international has impressed for Sassuolo this term, notching six goal in 24 appearances for Italy’s surprise package.

As a result, he is thought to have been a target for the North London club as they begin preparations for a season next year that is highly to include Champions League football.

However, Mauricio Pochettino was not alone in his admiration of the 21-year old and Juventus are now said to be ready to seal a deal to bring him to Turin.

The Old Lady are understood to have an option of buying the player for €25m, one they are believed to increasingly likely to take up.
