Juventus and Tottenham are believed to be looking into the possibility of signing Breel Embolo this January, according to Goal.
Reports claim that Spurs have been watching the youngster since the summer and have had preliminary talks with Embolo’s representatives during the last transfer window.
Meanwhile, Juventus reportedly sent a scout to watch the 18-year-old in September.
The biggest concern for any side chasing the Swiss international is the transfer fee.
Wolfsburg were reportedly told that even £21million might not be enough to seal a deal for the Basel star and Juventus are unwilling to part with such a fee for a player who is relatively unproven.
However, Tottenham’s failed pursuit of Saido Berahino in the summer has led them to Embolo as a secondary option and Juventus have shown previously that they are more than willing to spend big money on younger players.
Embolo hit 16 goals last season and, at 18, could be a star of European football in the next decade.
