Kane would succeed at Real Madrid, according to Manchester City’s Aguero

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has received plenty of plaudits this season for his scintillating displays in front of goal.

The England international had a stellar 2017 by scoring 56 goals for club and country over the course of the calendar year.

The 24-year-old’s tally surpassed some of football’s current greats, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who netted 54 and 53 respectively.

It is no surprise, then, that Kane has been linked to some of the game’s biggest clubs.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have appeared in the gossip pages as potential suitors for the hitman, but there has not been any concrete reports that the club plan to make a move.

One man who has previously emerged as rumoured target for Madrid is Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine has so far resisted any temptations to return to Spain, but the forward thinks that Kane would be a success at the Bernabeu.

Aguero told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser:

“The truth is that players of this quality, I think they wouldn’t have a problem playing for such an important club as Real Madrid is.¬†I don’t know what he is thinking but that’s not my problem, it’s his.”
