Real Madrid have identified Hugo Lloris as a key transfer target this summer, according to MirrorFootball.
The La Liga giants were hopeful of signing Manchester United’s David De Gea last summer but have since cooled their interest.
Now they are looking to Spurs’ Lloris and are lining up a huge £35million raid for the France international.
Lloris signed for Tottenham for just £10m from Lyon in 2012 and is now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
Last season Lloris played a key role in Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s Premier League title challenge, making 87 saves and keeping 13 clean sheets in 37 league appearances.
But despite Real’s interest, it is believed the shot-stopper is happy at White Hart Lane and enjoys playing under Pochettino – and he has even begun talks with Daniel Levy over a potential new contract.
However, the chance to play under France legend Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu could tempt the 29-year-old to jump ship should an offer materialise.
