According to Football Insider, Tottenham could sell Kyle Walker-Peters this month amid interest from Crystal Palace and Southampton.

A bid of £15m could be enough for the North London outfit to allow the academy graduate to leave, and it is a move which has the support of several Spurs supporters, for different reasons.

Such a fee presents a good return on the club's investment, too, particularly when one considers the fact he has started just nine Premier League games in his career.

More game time should serve the 22-year-old well and some fans aren't too concerned that he may leave the club, even though it would leave Serge Aurier as the only senior right-back in the squad.

One reason for that could be because £15m could provide Jose Mourinho with the extra funds he needs to sign some of his own targets, with numerous right-backs linked to the club.

Two of those include Max Aarons and Nathan Ferguson, and their names have been on the lips of some supporters in reaction to the news that Walker-Peters could depart.

Others have taken an alternative viewpoint but one that rings very true. They have focused on the proposed money involved and the work of Daniel Levy in striking a good deal for the club once again.

The chairman has come under fire recently but he is an ardent negotiator and often pulls in fees for players that is some way above their value, such as the £18m deal for Kevin Wimmer, and that is arguably the case here if the right-back does leave for £15m.

In other news, there has been a big development between squad and management in recent days that may reveal a lot about the current climate at the club.
