After it emerged that Harry Kane was set for a spell on the sidelines, many would have been thinking about how Tottenham Hotspur will adapt.
It is no secret that the England international has been the club’s star performer having netted 35 goals in all competitions.
On Sunday, though, Kane suffered a blow when he damaged ankle ligaments in a collision with Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic in the club’s 4-1 victory at the Vitality Stadium.
It has been confirmed by the club that the 24-year-old is not expected to return to training until April.

The fans were initially not too concerned about the striker’s injury, but now attention has turned to who will replace him.
Fernando Llorente was bought by manager Mauricio Pochettino last season as a back-up striker, but The Telegraph report that Erik Lamela is likely to step up and take Kane’s place in the team this weekend.
The publication states that the Argentine will play alongside Son Heung-min and Dele Alli in an attacking force for Spurs’ FA Cup quarter-final against Swansea City.
Lamela returned to action earlier in the season after spending a year on the sidelines with hip problems.
So far, the attack-minded player has featured in 23 games in all competitions.
