Llorente could be shown the door, Tottenham Hotspur fans react

Fernando Llorente’s time at Tottenham Hotspur could be short-lived if the latest rumours are anything to go by.

The London Evening Standard reports that the Spaniard will be available for transfer when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The former Juventus forward has struggled for game time at Wembley having made just 28 appearances in all competitions, with only one being a Premier League start.

Within that spell, Llorente, who signed from Swansea City last year, has scored just five times, and three of those came in a 6-1 romp over Rochdale in the FA Cup.

The 33-year-old was never going to dislodge Harry Kane from the number one spot up front, but he has fallen further down the pecking order in terms of reliable goalscorers due to Son Heung-min’s form.

With news rumbling that Llorente could no longer be a Tottenham player, supporters have been tweeting their thoughts on the possible transfer.
