Tottenham Hotspur have not recruited any new faces in the January window, and if they are to change that they have until Wednesday to do so.
Brazilian senstation Malcom has been one name heavily linked with Spurs, as well as the club’s North London rivals Arsenal.
The 20-year-old has netted eight goals and created five assists in 25 appearances in all competitions this season.
At the weekend, the forward scored for current club Bordeaux in a 3-1 victory over Lyon, but the youngster did come under fire for a blatant dive.
With regards to the talented player’s future, a report in Brazilian publication UOL claims that he has been persuaded to join Tottenham in the summer.
Malcom reportedly feels that working under Mauricio Pochettino at the Premier League club will help his development.
The Argentine coach has proven over the last few years that he can shape a title-challenging squad with young players.
The latest development in the Malcom saga has got Tottenham fans talking on Twitter.
