According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur could move for Leicester City’s James Maddison in this summer’s transfer window.
Christian Eriksen will see his contract at Tottenham expire in June 2020 and the Denmark international has been strongly linked with a move away from the club.
According to The Mirror, should Eriksen depart, Spurs will consider making a bid to sign Maddison from Leicester.
The 22-year-old joined the Foxes from Norwich City last summer.
He has scored seven times and registered six assists in 32 Premier League appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
There is absolutely no question that the attacker is a talent, but the Tottenham fans are split when it comes to his potential arrival.
Indeed, whilst some want Maddison to arrive this summer, others are not convinced that he would be the right replacement for Eriksen.

Most creative player in Europe this year according to stats. Would be a great signing and fit the homegrown quota.

Young, English, plenty of talent already – poch could do frightening things with him. Those who don’t agree are probably the same people that used to boo when Harry Winks played a backwards pass in his own half at 3-0 up with 5 minutes on the clock.

Down grading again.

Too late we should’ve got him before Leicester! He’d cost a small fortune now that Levy would be unwilling to pay.

Plenty of talent, and lots of us wanted him while he was at Norwich, but Eriksen replacement? No chance.
