Fernando Llorente could yet have a future at Tottenham Hotspur.
Indeed, according to Sky Sports News, Spurs are considering opening contract talks with the experienced centre-forward.
Llorente’s current deal with the London club will expire at the end of next month.
It had been thought that the 34-year-old would be leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer in search of pastures news.
However, Sky Sports News have reported that Mauricio Pochettino’s side could yet hand the towering striker a fresh deal.

Llorente has scored eight times in 34 appearances for Spurs this season.
The Tottenham fans have been on social media offering their views on the report.
And it would be fair to say that there are a lot of differing opinions:
He deserves another year at least to be fair. I’d understand if he wanted to go get regular football but he’ll always be a hero at Spurs.

There is an increasing need for that type of player – against a really top high press like city or Ajax, the lump up to the big guy makes a lot of sense.

It will be embarrassing if he gets a new contract. He can barley move.
