Tottenham Hotspur could still lose Harry Kane as Real Madrid are considering a move for the on-form attacker, Metro reports.
The 21-year-old has had a breakthrough season after earning himself a regular role under Mauricio Pochettino, scoring 16 goals in 23 appearances for his side.
And now Madrid look set to continue their signings of young talent as Carlo Ancelotti is believed to have been alerted by the current form of Kane.
Ancelotti could even sell star striker Karim Benzema in order to raise funds for the potential transfer to take place while trying not to breach the Financial Fair Play rules.
However, Spurs manager Pochettino has made it clear that the English forward is not for sale and is already said to be preparing a new offer to ensure his stay at White Hart Lane.
“Harry will be at Tottenham for a long time,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I am the head coach, I have to take decisions in the best interests of the team and Harry is an important player for us.”
