Tottenham fans have hated the performances of their full backs this season, and Mauricio Pochettino can fix the left side immediately by moving for 22 year-old Junior Firpo.
The full backs were possibly Tottenham’s biggest strength when they pushed for the title, but the departure of Kyle Walker and injuries to Danny Rose has meant mass changes at the back.
While both Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies excelled last season, the pair have been poor so far this campaign.
Reports claim that Manchester City are eyeing Real Betis youngster Firpo as a replacement for the injured Benjamin Mendy, and Tottenham must hijack the move.
The report claims Firpo is rated at £44m by Betis, but this is a small price to pay if he fixes the left back problem for the next decade.

The extremely athletic 22 year-old has been superb for Betis this season, grabbing himself two goals and two assists in all competitions.
At 6 ft tall he is bigger than the average full back, but also has the speed and agility to bomb up and down the wing for 90 minutes every week.
He is an absolute monster defensively, winning over two aerial duels per game in La Liga, while also making 1.8 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 2.2 clearances per game.
However, it is at the attacking end where he will really excite fans, bringing back the days where Rose and Walker were bombing down the wings racking up the assists.
The youngster is completing 1.5 dribbles per game this season, and he always picks the right pass in the final third, making 1.2 key passes per game.
Perhaps his only weak point right now is his crossing, something he will need to work on to supply extra chances for Harry Kane.
Still, Firpo is big, strong, extremely quick and excellent with the ball, and signing him would be the first step in getting back to the football that made fans in North London fall in love with Pochettino.
So, Tottenham fans, would you back a move for Firpo? Do you think he’s worth £44m? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
