With the end of the decade rapidly approaching, it's not really a surprise to see many fans and pundits pick their favourite moments, goals, players and even squads from the last ten years on the footballing stage.

Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, Paul Robinson, did that very thing for Sky Sports as he gave his verdict on Spurs' team of the decade.

Robinson - who made a total of 174 appearances for the north London outfit between 2004 and 2008 - opted to go with a 3-4-1-2 formation and decided to include, and also exclude, some big names that graced the pitches for Spurs in the last decade.

Of course, many of the supporters also had their say on it, discussing his team on social media and Twitter.

Two names seemed to be in the heart of it, however, as many couldn't believe Toby Alderweireld and Heung-Min Son did not make the cut...

Having already played a total of 211 games for Spurs and bagged 77 goals in the process since his arrival in 2015, it's easy to see why fans would vouch for Son in the first place.

But a similar thing could be said for Alderweireld, their experienced centre-back with 181 appearances for the Lilywhites.

Mourinho's produced some incredible footballing stars - how much do you know about them?

The defender also signed a brand new deal not so long ago, to the overall delight of a big part of Spurs' fandom.

But at the end of the day, fans can be awfully difficult to please and every strong opinion is bound to clash with someone else's.

Still, excluding Son and Alderweireld does seem a little harsh on the duo.
