Real Madrid face payment issues for Gareth Bale

Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid are still miles apart when it comes to payment instalments, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Spanish club are set to break their own world transfer record for the deal to leave Tottenham with a huge profit and a month to spend it.

However Madrid only want to cough up £20million in the initial transfer fee leaving nearly £80million in add ons.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not happy with this proposal and is set to sit down with Real president Florentino Perez in the next 48 hours to thrash out the best possible deal for the North London club.

The Bale saga is set to continue after the player understandably showed his willingness to leave Tottenham, but the White Hart Lane club will want to get the deal done as soon as possible in order to free up the funds to somehow replace their best player.
