Loads of Tottenham fans have been lining up some potential January signings, and 58 per cent of fans who voted in our poll want to sign want-away Sunderland sensation Josh Maja.
According to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, Maja has told Sunderland he will not extend his current contract, which expires at the end of this season.
The 20 year-old goal machine will be a free agent in the summer, but has reportedly rejected Sunderland’s offer of seven times his current wage.
CheekySport’s Joel claims Spurs badly need to invest in January after not having “the balls” to beat Arsenal. Check out his uncensored opinion in the video below…
Tottenham meanwhile have been strongly linked with a move for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen, but would they be better served signing Maja?
The Lilywhites are already packed with attacking midfielders and wingers, but even with Fernando Llorente’s hat trick against Tranmere it still feels like they haven’t yet found an adequate back-up for Harry Kane.
Maja could be just that, as the youngster has grabbed 14 League One goals this season, and his pace will offer something a little bit different to Kane.
Just over half of fans are hoping Maja can re-produce the magic of their last League One signing in Dele Alli, and you can view the full poll results down below…
