According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena.
Tottenham did not spend a penny during the summer transfer window, but the London club could be active at the start of 2019.
Vilhena - valued at £10.8m by Transfermarkt - will see his contract with Feyenoord expire at the end of the 2019-2020 campaign, and could therefore be available for a relatively cheap price.

Tottenham simply cannot afford to spend £60m on one player during a transfer window, but Vilhena fits the brief in terms of quality and affordability.
The 23-year-old is capable of playing in a number of different midfield positions, meanwhile, and would certainly be an interesting arrival.
The Tottenham fans were recently asked whether they would be interested in a deal for Vilhena, and 64% of those polled were in favour of the transfer.
Vilhena is perhaps not the type of footballer who is going to come in and change Tottenham from a very good team to a challenger for the Premier League title, but he might well be a good squad player.
