Victor Wanyama has not played a single minute of Premier League football for Tottenham Hotspur since November 10 as he continues to battle a knee problem.

Wanyama has a contract with Spurs until the end of the 2020-21 campaign, but his future is believed to be far from secure.

Indeed, the Kenyan - valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt.co.uk - has been strongly linked with a move away from the club.

However, in recent quotes carried by La Roma 24, the midfielder's agent Ivan Modia said that the 27-year-old would not be leaving Tottenham this month.

Wanyama has only made seven first-team appearances for Tottenham this season, but there is no question that he is a powerful presence when fit.

With that in mind, we recently asked the Tottenham fans whether they believed that Wanyama had a future with the club.

And 69% of those polled have backed the 6ft 2in ace to play a role going forward, particularly with Mousa Dembele on the verge of leaving for China.
