Tottenham face a huge season ahead as they battle to retain their spot in the Premier League’s top-four, while also eagerly awaiting their delayed stadium switch.
The Lilywhites could see some major departures in the course of 2019 and the contract saga concerning Toby Alderweireld leaves Mauricio Pochettino’s side facing the risk of losing their experienced Belgian defender.
Spurs seem to have a plan though as reports have suggested the North London side are keen on signing Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and we asked fans whether they would like to see the former Chelsea man brought to the club.
A huge majority of 72% of polled supporters stated they are keen on bringing the 23-year-old central defender to the club, with just 28% of fans suggesting they believe he would not be a good addition to their side.
With Alderweireld’s future hanging in the balance moving for Ake could prove to be an extremely wise move from Pochettino, albeit slightly surprising too given he has also been linked with Eric Bailly and Matthijs de Ligt, but persuading Bournemouth to sell will be a challenge.
