Revealed: 74% of polled Tottenham fans would rather sign Sander Berge instead of Jarrod Bowen

A lot has been made of Tottenham’s potential January transfer dealings in recent weeks. It is no secret that they need a new midfielder to offset the expected departures of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama, who have both been struggling with injuries for quite some time now.

20-year-old Genk and Norway midfielder Sander Berge is reportedly in the club’s sights to cover the loss of the aforementioned duo, and is an impressive player who has a huge ceiling for growth.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is also after a homegrown player, and is said to be keen on Hull’s top scorer in 22-year-old Jarrod Bowen, who the north London club view as a cheaper alternative to Jack Grealish.

With Daniel Levy a tough nut to crack when shelling out big fees for players, coupled with the debts racked up from the construction of the new White Hart Lane, one would assume that the club can only afford one of the two players in question.
