Tottenham have seen their fine start to the season undone in recent weeks, suffering defeats against Watford and Liverpool either side of the international break.
In Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s side, Tottenham struggled to create chances with Harry Kane off form and Son Heung-Min only introduced off the bench following his return from Asian Games glory – which suggests that improvements in the final third are required.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been heavily linked with two top-class Premier League wingers in the form of Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, so we asked supporters which of the pair they would like to see their club signed.
A whopping 79% stated they would like Sessegnon, who finished as the Championship Player of the Year last season, ahead of Martial, who boasts significantly more top-flight experience than the highly-rated teenager.
Sessegnon is yet to score this season but has contributed one assist in five appearances, while Martial has only featured twice for Jose Mourinho’s side but boasts a total of 24 Premier League goals from 88 appearances in his career.
