Revealed: 92% of Tottenham fans do not endorse shock Ranieri swoop

Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham have again finished the season trophyless and the Argentine has taken the FA Cup semi-final defeat against Manchester United particularly badly.

Despite the first bumps in the road between Pochettino and the club he seems committed to returning to the very top, it was still a major surprise to see former Leicester City title winner Claudio Ranieri linked with the Spurs job by French outlet Presse Ocean last week.

Yet, the Italian is a Premier League winning manager, having engineered the unlikeliest of triumphs with the Foxes back in 2015/16 and Tottenham are a club who are coming off the back of ten seasons without silverware.

That’s why we asked you whether there was any sense in the move that looks bizarre on a first look, but the answer was emphatic.
