According to The Independent, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that the club may not make any signings before the window closes, despite him calling on chairman Daniel Levy to be brave and to take risks in the transfer market earlier this summer, as reported by The Guardian.
With Spurs having the most players competing in the final weekend of the World Cup, the North London side will most likely be without the whole spine of their starting XI for their Premier League opener against Newcastle.
It also seems as though the rest of the top six clubs have spent wisely and improved their squads, with Liverpool bolstering their midfield, Manchester City breaking their transfer record for Mahrez and Chelsea appointing Maurizio Sarri who brought with him Jorginho from Napoli.
Poch signed a new five-year contract with Spurs just a couple of weeks after his comments about the transfer market, but with Levy yet to open his wallet we asked Spurs fans whether they thought Pochettino would get fed-up and leave the club.
51% of fans we polled thought the Argentine boss would leave Spurs at some point during the 2018/19 season. Check out the full results below.
