He’s been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in regards to the summer transfer window, with several sources – such as France Football and London Evening Standard – documenting interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

L’Equipe claim the 22-year-old’s Premier League move hasn’t happened yet because of an injury he picked up in May, but report that Southampton and Bundesliga outfit Schalke are still targeting him.

In response to the L’Equipe article, however, Le10Sport claim Spurs have now ended their pursuit of Boufal, something that is seemingly corroborated by their efforts to sign a likeminded alternative in Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille.
