Diego Forlan

This will come as a bit of a surprise. Forlan is a name largely forgotten in these parts after his decision to trade Italy for Brazil in the shape of Internacional back in 2012. Many saw this as the beginning of the end of an illustrious career for the Uruguayan, but new reports point towards a potential last Premier League jaunt for the prolific forward. Having hardly set the world alight during his time at United some may see this as a rash move, but given the frontman’s potent record in La Liga as well as an exceptional record on the international scene, I would see this as a risk worth taking. At 34 he would be happy with a bit part role, and one that would suit Spurs perfectly given the persistence with a Soldado/ Adebayor partnership.
