Tottenham produced their best performance of their season so far as they trounced Chelsea 3-1 at Wembley on Saturday, and Son Heung-min proved that he is well on the way to rediscovering his best form.

Spurs started quickly and were all over the shellshocked Chelsea side, and they deservedly took the lead through Dele Alli before the 10 minute mark as the Englishman headed in Christian Eriksen's free-kick.

Just eight minutes later, Harry Kane doubled the home side's lead with a long-range strike, and Spurs could have realistically felt aggrieved to only be two up at half-time.

In the second half though, Son latched onto Alli's pass into the channel and raced past Jorginho, before evading a poor challenge from David Luiz and firing low past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The goal harked back to the 26-year-old's best moments in a Spurs shirt, and proved that he is starting to find his form after returning from his summer exertions with South Korea at the World Cup and the Asian Games.

Son did waste a number of gilt-edged chances during the game, but his six shots and two dribbles prove that he is getting back into those dangerous positions that have allowed him to score 39 goals throughout all competitions in his past two seasons.

Although Spurs have enjoyed their best ever start to a Premier League campaign, they have actually failed to perform as well as last year on the whole. This though was an extremely comprehensive victory over Maurizio Sarri's men, and much of the credit must go to Son for his impact.

So, Spurs fans, should Son keep his place for the visit of Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
