The Chilean and the Spaniard both moved to the Premier League from Barcelona over the summer in deals worth around £30m, and have been hailed as two of the signings of the summer window by many fans.
Fabregas currently leads the assist rankings in the top division of English football with a stunning tally of 15, while Sanchez has been, arguably, the Gunners’ best player across all competitions.
However, Pochettino feels that his Danish playmaker has been just as good as the big money duo. When asked if Eriksen has matched the pair, the Argentine said:
“Yes, so far.” he said. “Christian has the possibility to get to the same level. His contribution so far is as great for the team.”
Eriksen has won his side 15 points this season through his goalscoring exploits, and helped to book Spurs’ place in the League Cup Final against Chelsea with a double haul in the semi-final against Sheffield United.
