Spurs clear to move for World Cup ace

Tottenham have been given the green light to move for Islam Slimani, with reports from The Metro claiming the Londoners’ target will be sold by Sporting Lisbon this summer.

White Hart Lane chief Mauricio Pochettino is thought to see the 26-year-old as a good option, with a reliance on Harry Kane having become an issue in north London.

Slimani has also been linked with local rivals West Ham, while clubs across Europe may take interest should the Lisbon side actively pursue to offload their man.
