Tottenham Hotspur are considering a £20m summer bid for Bournemouth star Callum Wilson to ease the burden on Harry Kane next season, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Spurs are keen to add a new striker to their squad during the transfer window, with the Lilywhites participating in the Champions League next term.
Kane has been their main man since emerging from their youth ranks in the last campaign, but manager Mauricio Pochettino knows that he cannot only rely on the England international if the club wants to compete on all fronts.
This has seen Tottenham linked with several centre-forwards in recent weeks, but Bournemouth’s Wilson now seems to be top of their wishlist, with a £20m offer being mooted.
The 24-year-old began his first Premier League season in remarkable fashion with five goals in seven fixtures, but he unfortunately tore his anterior cruciate knee ligament back in September, which saw him miss seven months of first-team action.
