According to reports from L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Lyon duo Alexandre Lacazette and Samuel Umtiti ahead of the summer transfer window.
Lacazette is enjoying another strong season as the French outfit’s frontman, amassing 19 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions – including 17 strikes in Ligue 1.
That brings the France international’s total to 72 goals in 134 outings since the start of the 2013/14 campaign, earning him consecutive spots in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.
Umtiti, meanwhile, is rated as one of the French top flight’s most exciting youngsters, having forged a near-permanent role for himself at the heart of Lyon’s defence at the age of 22.
According to L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on both Lyon stars and appear to be monitoring their form ahead of a summer transfer window in which the club will be recruiting for a Champions League campaign.
But the Stade de Gerland outfit will be reluctant to part with the talented French pair and Spurs could face competition from Manchester United if they attempt to sign Lacazette.
