Spurs facing knock-on effect from Man United’s mega Pogba deal, star lined up

Juventus have outlined Spurs’ Nabil Bentaleb as a target as they prepare for life after Paul Pogba, according to reports from Football Insider.

The Algerian ace rose into the Lilywhites’ first-team during the reign of Tim Sherwood, but his game time has slowly reduced since Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival at White Hart Lane, and he is now considered to be a fringe player in north London.

And this has reportedly alerted Juventus, who are preparing for the loss of Pogba.

The Frenchman is widely expected to complete his £89m move to Man United in the coming days after the Manchester heavyweights announced that a deal had been agreed with the Old Lady after weeks of speculation.

Juve, the reigning champions if Italy, are aware that a player of such quality will need to be replaced, and with Bentaleb available, they are keen.

The 21-year-old is certainly not heralded as being the level of player Pogba is, but his potential could make him a solid option for the Turin side.
