Jack Grealish helped Aston Villa record a 2-1 win over Leicester City in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

The victory saw Villa advance to the final of the competition at Leicester's expense, and their spot against either Manchester City or Manchester United was secured when Trezeguet scored in the 92nd minute.

Grealish had helped his team take the lead in the 12th minute, though, as he provided the assist for Matt Targett to register.

The 24-year-old seems set to stay with Villa beyond the end of the January transfer window despite suggestions of interest from Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur have long been linked with a move, meanwhile, and a number of the London club's fans watched Grealish in action against Leicester.

Some are desperate for their side to sign the attacker at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, others were keen to lavish praise on Grealish's quality, with some claiming that he is a far better player than Leicester's James Maddison.

A number of supporters have also been left to rue the fact that their club have been unable to sign Grealish thus far despite a lot of speculation.

Meanwhile, a number of Tottenham supporters have been reacting to a suggestion that one of their most promising youngsters could leave the club this month.
