Tottenham fans have changed their minds about a move for Jack Grealish, after reports claimed the youngster could cost as little as £15m.
Spurs fans weren’t convinced by this week’s mega money links to Jack Grealish, with some fans praising the club for searching for another young star from the lower leagues like Dele Alli, and others wanting the club to show more ambition.
That’s all changed now though, as fans are completely on board with snapping up the youngster for just £15m.
According to a report in the Telegraph, Aston Villa want £40m for Grealish, which is perhaps what scared many Spurs fans off the deal. However, the Villans’ precarious financial situation means Daniel Levy will work to get that price down to something closer to £15m.
Grealish was injured for most of the first half of last season, but still managed three goals and six assists, and was the standout performer in Villa’s playoff run.
Now, Spurs are just 10/11 to sign the feisty 22 year-old, with some bookmakers even suspending betting on a move, after the Telegraph described him as a “prime target” for Pochettino.
Given that the price is now likely to be much less than what Villa want, fans are understandably getting behind what would be a bargain move.

decent player though Rob, i’ve always liked him, shades of Waddle with the socks and skill?

When he first came on the scene we were all desperate for him to choose England over Ireland! Not a big name signing from abroad granted and he’s had his problems, but at £15 mill and our lack or creative options from the bench that’s a risk worth taking.. Rather him than Sissoko

Bring him in

15m is a more realistic value, the media’s 40m price tag would be what he is worth after year with Poch.

For 15 million that’s a bargain take him all day. Young hungry and a much better option than Sissoko

If we can do a deal for £15m then happy days

15m would be worth it for sure.

Think £15 is a fair price and worth a gamble. Will have to improve and mature a lot but hopefully Poch can get the best of him. If not will be able to least make money back. Overall good signing…as long as we also bring better quality in.
