Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left delighted with the news that Troy Parrott will soon be back to full fitness after sustaining an injury scare against West Ham's Under-23 side on Tuesday.

The Spurs Under-23 striker has emerged as a star of the youth ranks in recent months.

He has scored 18 goals in 24 games in all competitions, playing for both the Under-18s and the Under-23s.

The 17-year-old is already a Republic of Ireland youth international, having played for his country at Under-17 and Under-19 level, and he has scored for both.

He was stretchered off on Monday evening as Spurs' Under-23s played West Ham, winning 3-2 and securing their survival in the Premier League 2, while also relegating the Hammers.

He took to Twitter to update fans, revealing that he hopes to be back in action soon enough.

And supporters have been delighted by some genuinely good injury news for once, with the first-team currently rocked by the absences of the likes of Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Erik Lamela.
