Moussa Sissoko could be fit to play for Tottenham Hotspur against Ajax in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, per the club's official website, to the delight of the club's fans.

The France international has been integral to the hopes of Mauricio Pochettino's side this season, having been transformed under the Argentine's management.

Sissoko has played 39 times in all competitions but sustained a groin injury in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City.

He subsequently missed the Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion as well as the defeat to West Ham United on Saturday.

But he will be assessed ahead of the clash with the Dutch giants and could be involved as Mauricio Pochettino's side look to reach their first European final of the modern era.

And fans believe he has an integral role to play as Spurs look to achieve history against Ajax over two legs.
