Tottenham fans are absolutely raging at Daniel Levy, after reports claimed Aston Villa will not sell Jack Grealish.
According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa have told Grealish he will not be sold this summer.
The feisty young midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to North London all summer.
They say don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and it feels like that’s exactly what Levy has done.
Spurs have fallen behind all their rivals in spending this summer, but the Grealish deal looked like the one that would actually get done.
Levy’s low-balling and waiting game have turned into a disaster though, and Pochettino will now have to rush to find alternative targets on deadline day.
Grealish only scored three Championship goals last season, but it doesn’t take a genius to see how brilliant the 5 ft 9 ace could be for Pochettino.
Fans are furious with this setback, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
Complete and utter shambles in negotiations from Spurs from start to finish for the player.
Feel more for Pochettino than anyone else, clearly a player he wants & so far this transfer window he’s been failed in a window where should have been heavily backed to improve the squad.

Kovacic joins Chelsea to sweeten the Courtois Deal, We fartarse around with Villa so they tell us bollocks, Toby will probably be sold and we won’t sign a single player

How can we not get a championship player over the line to play in a champion league team

Goodbye Poch…i don’t get how he has such a good relationship with Levy, the man never backs him

Genuinely wouldn’t blame Poch if he decided to walk

Only way Levy can salvage this window is to pull off a 2018 Van der Vaart-esque marquee signing.
But seriously. Poch said to be brave and take risks. He and this team deserve better than this.

What a disgraceful joke of a window.
Nobody would have believed you in May if you’d told them they’d be no transfers in or out and we’d be struggling to sign Jack Grealish on the last day.
It’s beyond ridiculous even for Levy & Spurs.
