Many Tottenham fans have been reacting to a surprising piece of news, as Mauricio Pochettino has included his son in the Premier League squad list.
Tottenham fans were infuriated by their lack of transfer business this summer, and they’re not quite sure how to react to the Premier League squad announcement.
There was no place for £17m flop Vincent Janssen, but Pochettino has found a spot for his son, Maurizio, who featured for the Under-18 side last weekend.
According to Transfermarkt, the boss’ son has played six times in the U-18 Premier League this season, scoring once.
The 17 year-old plays both as a winger and a striker, and some fans are even calling for him to become Harry Kane’s deputy.
Fernando Llorente has not been particularly impressive since signing last summer, so there is certainly room for a young striker to make his breakthrough.
Other fans are bashing the decision though, perhaps down to transfer market frustrations more than anything else.
Either way, you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
