Spurs fans urge the club to sign Cavani

Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to a report claiming that the club have been offered the chance to do a deal to sign Edinson Cavani from PSG.

Spurs have been offered the chance to bring the striker into the club in the January transfer window, per The Independent.

Manager Jose Mourinho is said to be keen to sign two forwards this month to cover for the injury sustained by Harry Kane.

The England captain, of course, is out until April at least and Mourinho recently floated the possibility of him not playing again this season.

And a number of supporters believe that a move for Cavani is something of a no-brainer.

However, some other fans doubt the possibility of securing the Uruguay international this month.

Would Cavani be a good signing for Spurs?





The 32-year-old, of course, is ageing but he remains an important member of the PSG squad, scoring five goals in 14 appearances in all competitions.

His current contract, however, does expire at the end of the season.

Cavani has struggled with injuries this season and has missed a total of nine games in Ligue 1; PSG remain top of the league, however, five points clear of second-placed Marseille.

Meanwhile, Spurs fans have reacted to reports of a potentially huge swap deal.
