Tottenham Hotspur fans have criticised Lucas Moura’s performance against Norwich City in midweek.
The Brazil international again drew a blank despite Spurs’ 2-1 win over the relegation-threatened Canaries.
Goals from Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min proved decisive in the absence of Harry Kane, even with Lucas picked to play through the middle.
And a number of fans were remarkably underwhelmed with his display.

Swear it’s looked like Lucas has been playing in defence for Norwich tonight. 🙈

Lucas Moura is a terrible, terrible footballer as well. #thfc

Lucas disaster class :/
Really hoped he'd be do well today cause we needed a win here. Alli and Lo Celso had to save us (Aurier and Son too)

Not great, really not great. But three points and a pleasure to watch Lo Celso for 90 mins. Nice reminder that Dier is a decent CB and Lloris a good keeper. Aurier also very good again. Rest average-bad, especially Lucas. #THFC

Indeed, Lucas has not scored in the league since December when he was on target against Wolves in a 2-1 win at Molineux.
He has been played as a central striker in Spurs’ last three league outings, against Liverpool, Watford and Norwich, but a selection of fans believe he should be played in a different position; he has also been routinely deployed as a right winger throughout his Spurs career.
Thought we were decent in the first half, but the second was a disorganised, nervous mess, particularly once Winks went off with what looked like a nasty injury. Lo Celso our best player by a mile. Ndombele back will help but we also need to stop playing Lucas up front.

Lucas not a target man, Sess not a left back

Cant believe the dissrespect im seeing for Lucas Moura. The mans playing every game out of position out of nessecity because our ridiculous chairman hasnt bought in a striker yet. Putting in an incredible shift. Non stop running. Top effort. Yet people are moaning about him smh..

Lucas just isn’t a striker. Loves the club clearly but cant hold the ball to save his life. Target man desperately needed, like Willian Jose or give Parrott more chances. I wouldnt worry about too much as a Spurs fan, as long as we dont capitulate, well be more than sound. #thfc

Lucas has drawn a few blanks this season and has scored just six goals in all competitions under the management of both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho.
It remains to be seen if he can rediscover his scoring touch ahead of the weekend when Spurs face Southampton in the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, one image should force Spurs chairman Daniel Levy into the transfer market!
